Interested authors are invited to contribute original high quality papers in the following topic areas:

  • neural networks,
  • evolutionary computation,
  • soft computing,
  • bioinformatics and computational biology,
  • advanced computing,
  • applications.

The themes are detailed in the Topics section. Papers, submitted using the on-line submission procedure will go through the peer review evaluation. The selected papers will be published in conference proceedings as a volume of Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science - LNCS. It is expected that the extended versions of the rewarded papers will be published in a special issue of an international journal with the impact factor. The details on paper submission are given in the Papers section.

Call for special sessions

Invited sessions consist of up to six papers presenting a unifying theme from a diversity of viewpoints. Proposals must clearly describe the motivation and relevance of the session. Proposals must be accompanied by full versions of each paper, which will be individually reviewed together with the proposal itself. Individual papers may be removed from a proposed session and replaced by appropriate contributed papers. In case an entire proposed session is rejected, selected papers may be accepted as contributed ones.
